Here’s everything that you can get with your Vivint home system
Unlike most security companies, Vivint’s smart home offerings are customized for renters. Look at some of the most asked about sensors and services:
Burglary detection
Door alarms and window sensors can notify you when an uninvited intruder enters your rental unit. Get a notification to your smartphone if an device goes off, or activate your components remotely to let in guests or maintenance when you’re at work.
Fire and safety detectors
Smoke detectors should come with your rental unit, but probably not other CO or water sensors. Place a wireless carbon monoxide detector or flood sensor to warn you and Vivint’s monitoring agents to problems before it’s too late.
Security cameras
A security cameras may be wirelessly put up so you can watch over certain rooms. A doorbell camera lets you watch -- and talk to -- guests at the front door. Watch live HD feeds and notifications about suspicious movement through the mobile security app.
24/7 monitoring
A great benefit of using Vivint is the monitoring agents that respond to triggered alarms. If a device triggers, your monitoring agents immediately notifies you to see if you’re in a safe location. Then they’ll call the emergency agency.
Home automation components
Smart devices, such as smart bulbs, can be put in to make your rental more energy-efficient. Some devices like a replacement thermostat or smart door locks may involve prior landlord approval.
The Vivint App
Your Lexington security system is able to be managed anywhere through the Vivint App. Watch live security camera feeds, remotely activate alarms and cameras, or program times for alarms and lights. Then receive texts to your smartphone if an alarm trips or a security camera sees a suspected lurker.
